I found one on B+H a week or so ago at a great price even after exchange rate and international delivery. Six days later it was delivered to Australia. Last time I looked B+H had none left so perhaps I got the last one. I can't complain about the service. The camera too is great.
Yes...you might have bought the last one there...you were lucky! ...and it is a great camera!

Otis is willing to look everyone right in their eyes and tell you...."It's a great camera!" We know Otis is always right!

Best Regards & Happy shooting!

There was a K5iis for sale on Gumtree Australia last week. They turn up from time to time.

With some of his jokes I'm surprised the date isn't set to 1952, Adwb! :-D

I just noticed that early this morning.....you know how it is.....new camera....old brain...in a hurry to get to the nitty gritty and shoot some damn squirrels!

I am going to go through the menu and get it all set up today.....I need to slow down and get things right...but the squirrels make me nervous and I get in a hurry. Squirrels can make you very nervous.....no kidding.

My first K5IIs flash shot...and I forgot I was on TAV and it came out at ISO 6400, because the focus was in a very dark room. However, the K5IIs nailed the focus and the shot came out very useable too! Love this camera!

Mrs Rupert...hard to imagine her outfit cost almost as much as my new K5IIs, isn't it! What a bargain! Even better, I will use her accounts to pay for it and she will never be the wiser....it looks just like my old K5!

I'm not trading her for a "New Model"......at 69 years of age she still looks great to me! After almost 50 years with her, I'm way too old to break in a new filly.

Best Regards & Thanks for keeping old Rupert on the right track....I do need my friends here!

Hahahah....if only you wife could read it, you'd be sent off to the pound without parole, (hilarious nonetheless)

Yep, it really does....and I can't leave now. If she ever had a CPA go over her accounts I'd be in the pokey forever...if I wasn't shot dead on the spot!

A little better flash shot of Mrs Rupert when she came home from Church....she is regular there....I think she prays that I will straighten up....or that heavenly squirrels will carry me off to Squirrel Heaven?

I don't like flash much, but sometimes it is necessary, and this K5IIs seems very capable...if in the right hands, certainly not mine!

Best Regards!

Congratulations! It is a wonderful camera.....I discovered it will even shoot a rooster that wandered into my yard a couple of days ago and has decided to stay.

He can stand on one leg too!

He sleeps a lot when he gets full of corn.

Have fun with the new camera, it is a wonderful camera in every way!

Best Regards!

My girlfriend has a k50 and between the two cameras in glad I ended up with the k5-iis. It's a heck of a camera, make sure to turn on expanded sensitivity so you can go down to ISO 80!

The K5IIs is a great squirrel shooter....even my Bigma 50-500 focuses fast and accurate with it! I am loving this camera, the best Pentax I have ever owned!

Pardon the "nip-slip"...squirrels don't have any modesty!

It shoots birds too!

And of course...Big Chickens!

Regards!
