The K5II was my first dslr ever and I easily fell in love with it. But as the nature of this addiction goes I just had to have the K3 so I snagged one in the black Friday dealpoloza on an online auction site. I could instantly tell that it was a beautiful camera and definitely a keeper so I sold my k5II to help recover costs. It took about two days for me to start missing my beloved k5II so I kept an eye out for a good deal on a k5IIs and snagged one a month or so ago. As good as the K3 is, it's the 5IIs that I take out more often as I feel for what I use it for, it gives nothing away to the k3, which now I just leave strapped to my Sigma 100-300f4 and use for wildlife and sports. The k5IIs just can't keep up to the k3 for fast AF.

The K5iis has a beautiful sensor, great DR and low noise at high ISO. It outclasses the K3 on everything but action photography....

I guess that's why I prefer it to my K3 for everything but action. Maybe the K3II will be the best of both worlds?

I recently got a K5ii through the Marketplace and I am really enjoying shooting with this camera. Trying to learn all I can with this camera before I try to move to a K3 or anything else.

I love my K-5 for stills and video, if only the AF were better (but the K-5 II mostly fixes that). Would take a K-5 II over K-3 any day.
