Stupid question on my K5iis.

Ok I know this model has a lens correction feature. My question is how do I know if I need to correct a lens? I only have a few auto focus lenses and haven't checked them all on this camera but they all seemed to focus good on my K10D

Not a stupid question at all. Read this thread which explains what to do.

Focus adjustment or lens correction? The lens correction has nothing to do with focus -- it applies a profile to correct for barrel distortion, etc. It also slows the camera way down.

Unless you don't want to or cannot do lens correction in post-processing, don't do it in-camera. Focus adjustment is entirely different. Hopefully, you're asking if your lenses need focus adjustment in the camera body.....
