Setting F stop and ISO and letting K5 set shutter?

Hi i would like to set my F stop and ISO and let my K5 set the shutter speed can't find any setting for this is it possible? Thanks Joe

Put it in Av (or hyper-Av in P) and then set the ISO manually.

That's my normal operation. Set ISO manually ( or not) then Program Hyper-Av. If set by default camera settings the ISO will stay to the set value unless you go back to auto ISO in the menu or by pushing ISO-Green to return to auto. Just love hyper program mode on the Pentax bodies 🙂 Makes Av and Tv modes largely unnecessary since you can change either or both on the fly.

That's what Av mode does. Back wheel controls F stop. Tap the ISO button once to set ISO, tap it again to go back to F stop.

Menu 5, E-Dial Customization also lets the front wheel control ISO in Av mode, so you don't have to use the ISO button.

Follow John's advice!

Use the back wheel to set the F stop and the front wheel for ISO.
If you want to go back to Auto Iso, press the Green Button.
