Audio trouble on K5 video mode

i have a trouble with the audio on my pentax K5 ,
What is really bugging me is not being able to hear the audio, it is so quiet as to be almost silent,
I have turned up the volume using the rear e-dial with no effect.
Please can someone put me right, there has to be something I`m missing.

How are the levels when you play the file back on the PC? I'm not sure if the K-5 has this, but there may be a recording volume setting in the menu.

Also, you should be using an external microphone if you aren't already.

when i import the video file on adobe premiere pro i can see that level is -30db, and the volume on K5 is in the max level.
i constate after serval tests that I still have very low volume against the gain and strong
