Coming somewhat late to the party on this subject - I have just bought a very low count K5 - 3185 clicks - and was staggered by how soft is the shutter sound compared even with my GX-20 - which is a lot quieter than the old *istDS! What really puzzled me was a slight but definite sound immediately after the shutter sound - then I realised it was on my 50mm A 1.7 - and it was the sound of the blades settling back after being released by the lever.  | |
