Thanks Cbaytan!
is the K-7 3in LCD screen reliable on reviewing the exposure of the pics?
If you magnify enough with wheel after the shot, yes in 90% of cases, you can see burned spots, dark pictures are easier to evaluate. Not just in K-7, in all top cameras LCD's are the same I think. After using Live View your chances are better, but I am using LV cautiously short, to avoid sensor heat. Real young eyes might utilize LCD better and faster than me I am sure.

Im curious to hear the difference with the lcd if how accurate it was on the k7..
There are situations when you review the pictures on the K200D the images appear to be dark but when you viewed it on the computer it was ok, i sometimes end up overexposing images coz i thought it was dark

It helps to check the histogram with the info button. Then you won't have that problem.

I have had a K-7 for a month or so now, after upgrading from the K200D. Don't regret the upgrade, now I am used to how the camera handles I would not go back! The shutter blur at 1/80 thing is a pain though. I don't find it too hard to stay away from that shutter speed range when critical sharpness counts, though.

That said, if your pockets are deep enough, oryou're not in a hurry, going for a K-5 would be a sensible idea as there have been some significant improvements and some of the issues K-7 owners have complained about have been fixed.
