K-r red body color the same as K-x?

Hi Guys, I purchased a red k-x long ago and realized that it wasn't the true red that many pictures depicted it to be. Was more of a off red, much more rouge. I was wondering if the K-r body was the same hue as the K-x. I have heard that the white K-x's weren't truly white either. Can anybody here with a red K-r verify?

The red on both cameras is different.
