Finalmente il test del sensore KR su DxOMark - Welcome to DxOMark.

A giudicare da quello che dicono la Kx ne esce meglio, sarà vero???

So this shows that the results in the thread 'Return of the ISO flower' were pretty accurate. It was evident there that there wasn't much improvement in image IQ at any ISO.

I wouldn't say better, I would say roughly the same. The sensor in the kr is a a tweaked sensor that allows for faster frames per second and better video. Low light score for the kr was iso 755, versus 811 for the kx. That is basically the same number in my book -- not visible in real world applications. The rest of the numbers look incredibly similar and the final overall score was the same.

The question in those looking between these two cameras is whether or not they need the additional features offered by the kr, not whether or not the sensors are different at high iso.

A comparison of the K-x and K-r shows no significant difference. Both camera sensors scored 72.
