Hallenti - Indeed, and here for the Pentax D-BH109 - Hoya Corp. - Assembled in the Philippines, we pay $62.00. That's about US$61.98 today.
Perhaps our Chinese friends can start churning-out "clones" - for about $10.00....
Apparently the shop here won't "discount" the adaptor, even if you buy it with the K-R and a lens.
As it might have cost Hoya about $5.00 to get made in the Philippines - they could have included it in the box... Even if they charged $10.00 extra.
Perhaps the pricing is to try to force users to use the power-packs... I see that Pentax power-packs for K-R are around $28.00 here - but online there are Chinese ones for about $5.00.
However, for K-R, I'll be using AA Eneloops - they power my other 3 cameras - and are "backed-up" by AA Alkalines bought anywhere.
