What you think k-r colours in jpeg shooting mode? i mean some cameras have different styles to my taste Nikons are better than Canons but now i want know about Pentax. reason is pentax bodies have few nice features what i like. i mean SR which works all lenses.

Hiya jpq, welcome to the asylum.

To answer your Q: Considering that the K-r has such an abundance of preset and fully re-configurable by the user Capture Modes, I don't really understand why it could be a concern?

Pentax DSLRs do not tend to make red come out as pallid orange or aqua come out as bright blue, if that's what you are concerned about. In fact many people consider they are quite faithful to real, unlike say Canon, who typically err to the "vivid" (IMhO anyway).

So why not try checking through some pix from the camera taken by average-person owners like yourself here below, and judge for yourself:

Looking shots what others taken dont tell much becouse i cannot be sure what kind situation their photographed lighthing changes colours so much. But i must say Pentax pictures dont look bad but how correct. and i know raw shoothing solves this but gives other problems.(i dont have time process raw pictures always etc)
ps. and some are maybe made form raw files...
