yeah, after forcing myself to not use the top LCD, I actually get used to not using it much any more ... though I like to glance at it from time to time when not shooting to make sure -- kinda like checking the time when nothing in particular is happening.

I wouldn't want to be without a top LCD. Maybe that's because I wear glasses and find it much easier to read the info on the top LCD than in the viewfinder. Also, I keep the rear LCD shut off to save batteries.

I just recently went from a K-x to a K10d and kept looking at the back lcd for the info instead of the top.

When I went from the K100d/K200d to the K-x, I thought the top LCD would be one of the things I missed, but obviously that's not the case (for me) anyway.
