I just received my K-r today. I brought it with 2 lens from Adorama. However, the I got a different len that adorama advertised on their website. I got the DA L 55-300mm instead of the DA 55-300mm. I am wondering if the 2 kit lens are both DA L or one is DA 55-300mm? thanks

Both kit lenses are DA-L. It was probably a typo on Adorama's part.

You got the right lens. The DA 55-300 is only available as a separate purchase, the DA L 55-300 is the one that comes in a kit.

I know the kit lens has a plastic mount and the others are metal but are the optics on par with the non-kit lens, especially the WR lens?

The optics are the same in both [edit: There is no WR version AFAIK].
