[langtitle=es]Flash National PE-204 en K-R[/langtitle]

Hola, he encontrado entre el kit fotografico antiguo de mi papa un flash NATIONAL PE-204, de una antigua pentax k1000, ya que el flash de mi nueva K-R dejo de funcionar, quisera saber si alguien sabe si puedo utilizar de forma segura este flash en la K-R.

i would doubt it - the trigger voltage on such an old flash will most likely be to great for modern cameras - you can get a volt meter out and check it though

That flash is also known by Panasonic.
Here is a list and the Panasonic/National 205 is on it and considered unsafe so I would say: No.

I found on the web that the National pe-205 is listed as 120 Volts. Too high a trigger voltage, it will destroy the flash circuit.

Si de hecho ese flash trae la opcion de conectarlo directamente a la corriente electrica de 120 o 220 V sin necesidad de utilizar pilas.

Muchas gracias, me fue util la informacion, le han salvadola vida a mi K-r.

If you wish to keep it and use that flash, you might be able to use an optical remote-trigger on that flash, triggering it with the built-in K-r flash or a show flash on the K-r that would work with the new(er) DSLR cameras. This on-camera flash would trigger the external flash via the light from the flash.
