I am looking forward to receiving a new Pentax k-r shortly replacing my k-m.

However, I have learned, that due to the comparable early stage of the production cyclus there might be some specific problems to be foreclosed by related testing before not returning the body (such as the sensor stain issue and the front focusing issue).

So my question is: are there further simple test recommended which should be definitely conducted in order to qualify the Pentax k-r as good?

take some photos with it, play with the settings. if something isnt working properly send it back. it should be pretty obvious if there is an issue, if not, well then you dont have any problems
