Hello, today I received my pentax kr, when I turned on, the dial was set to Auto pic but in the display said it was in manual mode (M), I try changing to other modes of capture, but it is not possible. Is there a lock for the dial or this is defective?, I searched the manual and do not find an answer

I live in Colombia, the camera will buy from Amazon USA.

Welcome to the forum!

Are you're using the kit lens that came with the camera? If it doesn't work straight out of the box as it should then I think it's faulty and you should contact Amazon for a replacement.

Yes I use the kit lens that came with the camera. I feel a little frustrate for this situation, is my first DSLR and I don't hoped none issue

I'm afraid you'll need to send it back. It's defective. I had one that did the very same thing. The replacement is perfect.
