Anyone know about Eye Cups to fit K-x/K-r? (not the original type)

I desperately need something that works to seal off all extraneous bright day or night lights flare interference from the eye when against the viewfinder.

Was thinking maybe in this style might do it. Experience please?

Sure, try it. It's not much money and looks good in the pictures. I don't own this, but for that price, you aren't out much if you don't like it

I get a lot of battery life on my K-x by turning the LCD brightness down and setting the meter timeout to short. I find I don't need those things.

Great detective work there.

Agree with you on the opening price. If the eBayers could later slash it down to USD15 incl postage that would be a good deal, maybe?

I use an eyecup that came with my magnifier:

It works pretty darn well for isolating the viewfinder eye.

OK, I can't argue against that. Think I'll order 2 to try, the dealer has some other useful bits I need want too.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that style before. Looks like it might be a slightly better alternative to the O-ME53 too so will take the plunge to see [horrible pun].

I suppose one can't really do much else than try a few for yourself, every person is different and if lucky to strike a good solution $mall losses on junk can be more easily forgotten.
