Pretty soon if K-r becomes a big hit, I'm sure market will be flooded by Chinese made knock-offs.
They would be cheap too!
If Pentax doesn't take advantage of selling original ones during time that third party makers haven't copied them yet, they will again miss out on opportunities to make a profit.

Yes I ordered one in Melbourne and only took a week and they called to say it is in so will pick it up today

$50 with shipping is pretty steep for 25 cents worth of metal and plastic.

+1....... pentax/hoya should've thought this one out... including this with all k-r's would not have bludgeoned their bottom line, and might've put them in a positive light... which they need considering the issues with the k-5 and to a lesser degree the k-r..............
