K-r firmware update worth it?

How many here have updated their k-r firmware to 1.01?
Is there really much point in doing so?
I don't have any SDXC cards...
I haven't used bulb mode much yet... certainly not for anything that would require very high ISO.
Are the live-view focus improvements very significant?
I don't use live-view a lot when shooting stills, but when I do it really seems quite slow to lock focus.

Aside from those things, are there any other camera improvements noticed from updating to 1.01?

I don't know if it is worth it, but it is very easy to do, so I would recommend it.

Although I cannot see any big difference I would guess that also some minor bug fixes has been made, but which are not included in the (public) change list.

I'm just curious what, if anything, others have noticed that's not on that list.

It's just a firmware update which is a simple process and fixes a few bugs or adds new features to the camera making it more stable. What's the issue? Who cares if you don't have SDXC, in my opinion it's usually a good idea to keep your software or hardware up to date.

I've only had my K-R for a month now and one of the first things I did was look for up dates, as I did with my old KD 100 always up date when you can they can only improve what you already have

yeah the firmware doesn't seem to make anything worse. This isn't like the Samsung Blu-ray player firmwares where you can break things and lose features.

I just upgraded and I am pretty sure that it improved both focusing speed and accuracy! So go ahead!

I thought the price of the update was about "worth it" for the improvements it brings.

sometime ago i bought a bower flash (which overexposure really really bad), then i changed the firmware and the behaviour of the flash changed (but still malfunctional), so i must guess that there was some hidden code to improve external flash.

by the way, i returned the bower flash and buyed the samsung version of af360.
works spectacular on direct and bouncing flash
