I'll bet the WR is a mistake.

I ordered the kit with the 18-55mm and 50-200mm from them for $636 on Friday and I see it has now gone up to $729. I'm glad i went ahead and ordered.

Amazon is down to $599 for just the body, as of today. They had been at $619 for quite a while. Looks like they are daring me to buy one.

Here in Canada, the best price I am seeing for a K-r with a 18-55 + 55-200 lenses is $820 +taxes.
Is that good or is there any point in looking further?

You guys arent going to believe this. It's possible to get a K-R with 2 kit lenses for less than $400! It just involves a little more work and upfront cash if you are willing to do it.

There is a deal right now from Epson involving a rebate on the R1900 printer (between $400-550). If you buy a DSLR from Pentax, Canon, Sony, or Olympus with a price above $549 (before taxes) and an R1900 printer at the same time and on the SAME receipt, you will be eligible for a $400 rebate from Epson on the printer.

So, buy the K-R body only (~$550) or K-R with 18-55mm and 55-200mm kit lens for ~$650 (better deal) and the R1900 printer together (~$400) and send in the rebate. Get $400 back after your rebate comes in...sell the printer for about $300-350 and your K-R will come out to only a few hundred bucks.

I've waited for a deal to come around, but this is just unbelievable. You guys can welcome me now as a Pentaxian, I've already ordered.

I just ordered a black K-r body only from Newegg for $549 with free shipping. Not too shabby. Love my K10d but I really need better high ISO images for some of my work. This should take care of that problem.

Thanks yougivemerash for the info about the Epson printer rebate. I just bought a black K-r from Amazon for $549.99 along with the Epson printer. Hoping that the rebate comes through as it's the largest one I've ever tried to get.

Pretty good special on E-bay right now. They have a 10% coupon code till the 28th and I was able to get one for $522 which included shipping and handling with the 18-55mm lens kit included
