Grid for LCD?

How do I turn this on? Or am I imagining this feature, lol. I thought I read or saw you could overlay a grid and maybe one other option too.

No you're not imagining at all, it's just so easy to forget pieces and their localities from the sheer volumes of latent information that we consume.
Nor should we reasonably expect to be able to. No big drama, Ironically computers and the Internet created the problem, so we need to use computers and the Internet to best solve the problem for us.

1. Download the K-r manual in .PDF format off Pentax website, Japan site preferred for expedience;
Support & Service : PENTAX

2. Also download and install a competent PDF Reader utility, such as... (assuming you use the ubiquitous Windows PC platform.)
Tracker Software Products :: PDF-XChange Viewer, Free PDF Reader
Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions
Foxit Software - Foxit Reader for Windows
(etc.)
...which will make the camera Manual fully fast~searchable convenient, and I think you'll find that p161 will reveal exactly what you need.

Hi Kitty

I'm new here too! You can turn the grid on, and the histogram for exposure and the light / dark areas if you want to.
Go to capture menu (camera pic) 3 in the menus. Select Liveview. Cursor across and then down to check the boxes you want to display. Hope that helps!
