Hi all, am new here. Some pics taken with k-r + tamron adaptall2 19ah during a recent dance competition. Pretty tough with the fast movements of the dancers and manual focusing. Most are in manual mode with iso 2500 (can see grain), 200 to 210mm, 1/150 to 200. A monopod + Pentax catch in focus really helps alot here.

I've had the K-r for a few months now and I am loving the camera! Here are some shots I took this weekend while on vacation in the Poconos. These are the first pics I've posted on the forums. Any and all feedback is welcome. All pictures were taken directly from the camera. Thanks.

Beautiful pictures; great subject and a wonderful capture of that moment.

An option you could try in high constrast situtations like these is using the Kr's exposure bracketing (I use GIMP to combine images; I added some notes and before-and-after shots here: Photos Posted By StuartMcIntyre - Pentax User Photo Gallery ).

I agree. Beautiful pictures. If possible could you include some info as to lens, aperature setting shutter speed, etc. Looking to learn. Thanks.
