Yeah that's where I use liveview. But if you have a sharp eye and your viewfinder is calibrated well, then you're good to go (: Good luck and have fun. Also a shallow DOF will also play a big part but yeah I'ma stop talking about technicalities, just go out, shoot and have fun (:

Picked up a K-r today and snapped a few pics of the tank and one of the car (finally got to clean it for the first time in a few weeks).

I got my K-r just before Xmas, here's one my favorite shots with it so far. There's nothing special about this shot, except I love how it looks. I especially like how the building lamp back lights the tree, giving the whole image a real sensation of depth. I do wish I'd used a narrower aperture so it would have a better DOF.

Sure has been tough finding a white balance that works well under the aquarium lighting. PP in RAW mode was taking a color temp of about 28k bring it inline with lifelike. I was able to find a manual WB that works great for shots off the sand but not as good as you move up the tank. Lighting is all LED with a 50/50 mix of 12k and 445nm blues along with a pair of magentas (havent found the spectrum yet) that are mixed with 445nm blues.

Did you link them from another forum possibly? Sometimes forums wont let you view images unless you're logged in. If it was from photobucket or flicker, make sure you have the images in a public album. If you dont have an account with either site, they're both free to sign up with.

For flickr, go to the image you want to show, then at the top left of the image click "share", then "Grab the HTML/BBCode", set the size you want (probably medium or large), click the box that says "BBCode", then click the box of text and simply copy/paste when you make your forum post

Need to monkey around with exposure some more and I'm pretty sure this lense is capable of producing a much sharper image (18-55 kit lense). No PP other than conversion from RAW to JPEG.

Appreciate any input from the gurus.
