I was using the metz48 triggered by the on-camera flash. I took about 60 pictures though. Less than 5 were acceptable.

Is it just me or does everyone who gets a flash try out the same thing first! Water in a glass, so simple but such fun.

What was the shutter speed in those Iwz89?
Nice pics, btw!
A nice trick is to put a red paper on the back and it'll create some nice effects...

i think it was the max sync speed. 1/180s. yep I kinda screw up the background a little. thanks for the advice

This flash doesnt support High Speed Sync?
I only have a manual (well, there are 2 auto modes) AF280T, and the max speed is 1/180 (max sync speed)

The flash supports HSS. But HSS is not really high speed flash. its more like continous source of light. By using max sync speed, i depend only on a sudden burst of flash to freeze motion and cut out all ambient light. correct me if i'm wrong!
