Awesome photos!

These racing photos should be in a magazine. Amazing panning skills, and the water splashing up into that first car really makes that photo come alive. Wow!

Got my K-r last March as a birthday gift to myself.
I took this photos from my K-r using 18-55mm DAL kitlens, since I am a newbie, there are no post processing done with the image only used a minor cropping.

Just fooling around at the Lake this weekend

I managed to grab both of these creatures with the kit zooms. I almost walked right past the toad in his camouflage.

That's a treefrog. Very cute. They can shift from almost white, to grey, to light or fairly deep green, depending on the surface they're on.

Beautiful tiger swallowtail, too. I haven't got a shot of them this year, but lots of the giant and black varieties. Was this one on a beach?

Thanks for the critter identification. There was actually a whole butterfly orgy going on with nearly a dozen on the same 2 foot X 2 foot (60cm) patch of sand inside a wooded patch - the shore of Lake Superior was about 50 yards/meters away.
