Your composition is pleasing, and exposure is good. You need to work on focus.
Two options: pick a part of the scene - for example the center of the closest flower and make sure it is razor sharp. Or reprogram your green button to allow you to stop down your lens so you can determine your entire depth of field. The biggest problem with stopping down the lens is you will be trying to determine this depth of field through a darker viewfinder.
Hang in there and practice - - - I've rejected a lot of my own photos for exactly the same problem.
Some folks have swapped out the viewscreen to enable easier manual focus. I've given it a lot of thought myself. But as you indicate you are new to all this, I'd say wait until you are more comfortable with what you have in the stock camera.
