Few shots from a trip to the aquarium yesterday, keep in mind these were all shot through ~1-2" of plexiglass.
All shot with my FA 50 1.4. Viewfinder focus was accurate and fast, liveview was too slow for faster moving fish but fine for the slower ones.
FF is there in some situations for sure, have a live band shoot and some other indoor occasions coming up so will see how it performs.
Overall loving the upgrade from a K100D aside from a few small things, new 16-45mm comes this week as well!

50mm

Taking a trip to AZ soon i wanted to goto an aquarium love those shots. Got the wife some purple flowers other day took a few good pics with pentax f 1.7 50mm one is reverse mounted macro i think i was around f 11

No, i don't have those, the DA L 55-300 the third pic I used the DA L 18-55 though.

Nice moon photos, mp29k!

I got this one last night. I know the moon is hideously overexposed, but I still like the photo.

Did you turned on your D-Range on that shot?

my share, noob about reflectors, window light only

No, I did not. I played around with the RAW image and decided I liked it better more overexposed than just less overexposed. LOL
