Here are some pictures taken from my K-r.

The first one is taken with with DA 35/f2.4. Some leveling on the brightness and contrast.

The second and third are taken with kit lens DA L 18-55mm. Straight from the camera.

The fourth and last one is taken with DA 55-300. Straight from the camera.

Ryan, those are amazing. I love the color and the detail. And the lens.... da 15, that's my dream lens. Making my way, a long way, to own one.

normally I would agree with zoom effect as mentioned but exif shows it as a 50mm lens so I'm thinking a software plugin (Topaz has one that does this for certain as do other plugins for photoshop and lightroom
old school way (which is hit and miss as controlling movement of the lens is crucial) is slow shutter and zoom in or out. the tiger is sharper than it would normally be for this though

Here's one, shot using only one Metz-44 with brolly and foil right of the subject, wall behind subject masked with gobo and dark fabric on the floor. This was a very quick setup, like 2-3 minutes, but turned out surprisingly well. No PP other than exposure and little sharpness.

Newbie too

Hello,
well I am not sure if I want to post my pics after the great ones that are up here, but here goes...

I am a K-r newbie too, I have had it for about 3 weeks and I really like it. I keep learning more about it and get better every time I go out shooting. These pictures are not PP and I have been shooting in RAW. I will probably shoot in Jpeg so I don't have to do as much work to get my shots after I view them.

Great to see everone's pictures!

I meant to add my dog in the above post. I took this picture in manual mode.
He is a Shiba Inu.

Hehe, you are so humble.
Both of yours are excellent pix and that's no bullshit. Could you please post some exposure details of the clock tower one? (The Exif is ripped )
