HI just joined yesteday and also got my new Kr with twin kit lenses yesterday, what a great camera it is!

Not new to photography but certainly a newbie to Pentax and the Kr.

Thought I'd post the very first few pics I took with it in the back garden with the 50-200mm. I think me and the Kr are going to be very happy together.

I think these were taken with Pentax-A 50mm F1.7
You can see grain coz they were taken with ISO1600... I forgot to change ISO :-P

These pics were taken with a Pentax K-r using the included 18-55mm lens and developed using Adobe Lightroom. For the the bikes photo I used a shutter speed of about 10 seconds and painted the hub & spokes with a small spotlight.

Moon shot is with the 300 all the way zoomed in, and I still had to crop it down quite a bit

Hello! just joined last week after buying a new Kr with 18-55 kit lenses I also bought some others sigma 70-300mm and 28-80mm. A friends game me his 50mm F2.8.

Thought I'd post a few pics I took with these lenses please remember this is my first real camera from a point and shoot. So they won't be perfect and the exposures will probably be all over the place, but Please let me know what your thoughts are and how I can improve. Also, the first pic was run through an app on my iPad.

Thanks Dave and Philosotical. I deleted the photo but I've made a new account/set on flickr with 7-8 strikes. Pretty darn boring season this year regarding night storms, so when I see even a little tiny one BAM i slam the door, ran outside and shoot it.
