My first couple of shots with my new K-r. I just moved to the K-r from the K20D.

Hi all.

I'm alternating shooting with the K-5 and the K-r. The more I use both of them, the more impressed I'm with the K-r. That much IQ for ½ the price of the K-5.

Here is a K-r pic with an old manual focus Chinon MC 35-70mm f/2,7-3,5 macro.

both taken with the 18-55mm kit lens.

had the camera for two weeks now, my previous camera was a GF2. finding the K-R a great, if sometimes slightly unpredictable camera. have to say though that I think this camera has alot of potential in it, I have just bought a 50mm f1.7 A, can't wait

Here is a shot of the moon I took the other night, and a lightning bolt awhile back. I really need a remote b/c i shook the camera slightly.

Broah. Just use the 2 sec drive mode (single, exposure bracketing, etc). I guess the downside is you might miss the shot in that 2 s period especially with lightning bolts going on.

Thanks never thought of that! Wasn't too bad for the moon b/c it was still a pretty fast shutter speed. The lightning was like a 1sec shutter and it def. showed
