First shots...

Hi everybody, I'm enjoying my K-r from last Xmas...
And I'm taking a lot of sport's photos, so I'm also trying to pan, this is one:

Toke in a night nordic ski race with an old smc M 135mm f3,5 1/50 sec. and 800 ISO. Manual focus
What do you think?

Thought i'd post a select few of my recent fave shots - have been shooting happily with my K-R for just over a year now. These are shot with either my kit lens or 70-300mm tamron zoom. I'm getting a MF Ricoh Rikenon through the post soon so looking forward to that!

Waterfall at Kondalilla Falls

The Three Sisters Panorama

Sydney Opera House

Sunset at Cleveland Point (Queensland)

Sydney Harbour Bridge at Night

Comments are welcome - if you wish you can view my Portfolio here - Photo Portfolio

Cheers

You all are awesome. The panning shot of the Nordic skier and those beautiful shots from Australia are showing what great potential this camera has. Thanks for posting. I have some up on Facebook but am not sure how to link to them.

Had my K-r since Nov after upgrading from a bridge camera and find i'm struggling to get anything good .
I took this photo yesterday and found it loked a bit colourless so i messed with it in Elements (i know even less about Elements than photography)
I'd appreciate any advice offered

The Raynox 150 (and 250) comes with a clip on adapter that supports filter threads from I think 52-67mm, so it would work with the 58mm thread of the 55-300mm kit lens.

My 2 cents:

You might want to try a polarizing filter. It should help you bring the sky into a shot like the one that you took.
