Very nice shot! I love it. Looks like you may have a bit of dust on your sensor though. :-)

I wanted to take pictures of the aurora borealis, but the clouds arrived before I got to the sea.
Therefore I photographed the harbor instead.

Great photos guys! I've had my K-r for almost a year now and I feel so stupid sometimes when I find a new setting i've no idea existed. I did a lot of photography during summer tho, and you can find some of the photos I took right here. Let me know what you think!

I have had a bit of a play over 6 months or so, am getting a bit more used to it now, would like some better glass when I can afford it but can feel myself getting more used to this digital lark.

I am very pleased so far, glad I went Pentax, and glad I started with a K-r, after the new tripod I think I will change from the DAL kit lenses.

Cheers Steve

Good evening everyone,

I'm new here in the K-r forum. I've had my camera for over a year now and I still consider myself a newbie. So hope I could share some of my shots here. =).

How are you all?

I've had my K-r for a while now and love the camera. Three of the shots were taken at iso 6400 and the one at home plate was 3200 using the 50-200mm kit lens. I convert a lot of my shots to black and white (especially higher iso shots) because I love b/w.

I bought my K-r in early 2013. Spent almost 2 months to try it out and I feel I still have a lot to explore.
This is the best picture I got so far using in camera HDR. Almost no PP.
i like film SLR and darkroom in the old day. Haven't taken any serious pictures in the last 12 years.
K-r is my first DSLR after a long hibernation. I am so happy to pick up this hobby again and really amazed by all the new things in digital photography.
I have learned a lot by reading this forum, much more practical than the K-r manual.
