Kastodonov, very nice shots. May I suggest you probably should do a bit of post processing. All photos should be
sharpened, even if slightly, before you print or post them. The deer shot is wonderful, but I think you should saturate
the color a little bit , and of course, sharpen. I"m planning on getting a Kr myself so am keenly interested in seeing these shots.
You're doing great, pal. Regards, Freddy

Hey, guy, nice shot. Nice composition and bokeh. I too get really fine shots with the 180 to 200mm end of the DA50-200. It is really an excellent lens, for those in the know.
I just bought a K30 Pentax and am loving that blazing speed that you're probably getting with that Kr. We've just entered a new world of fine
shooting cameras. Pentax really comes up with the goods. My next buy will be the Pentax DA35mm 2.4 AL prime lens. For under $200., I think
it will be a good lens on the K30. Regards, Freddy

Freddy thanks, I have been pleasantly surprised with the kit lens as well as the 50-200. I have been happy with my Pentax after first having a Canon XS and then a Nikon D5000. The KR has been comfortable, and well balanced compared to the prior cameras.

Yes, Nick. The Kr and the K30 are a nice , lightweight manageable size and extremely user friendly. I previously had a K100D pentax and then, recently, traded for a used K200D which
is a pretty fine camera, I must say. I'm keeping it as a backup. But the new cameras are miles ahead of the older models. By the way, I have an old (barely used) Canon dslr I think a 60D
probably about l0 years ago it cost $1400. It was very poor in low light so I never used it. My company had bought it for me along with the 28-105 USM lens. IT WAS LIKE CARRYING AROUND
A HUGE CINDER BLOCK. Much too heavy for me. I wound up buying point and shoots that worked better in low light (the Canon 4300 was actually better than that old Canon. Freddy
P.S. Soon I will post some pics taken on my new K30 with the DA16-45 Pentax zoom. We went on a three day trip to Philadelphia and Atlantic City (Just in time to see all the Miss America Candidates
running around the Sheraton Hotel in A.C). I didn't shoot any of them because it was frowned upon (by my wife).

Very good shots Kraljek. What lenses you used for them?

I use smc 18-55mm, and sigma 70-210mm. But i think that is pictured with 18-55m.

i whant tell, hummingbird, this bird is so fast, i picture it about 1h, for that one photo. I think that will buy some lens with F 1.8 or 2.4 or 2.8, because, all with less F is bad for macro photos. Ok F 3.5 is good, but must be a sunny day without a clouds.

Welcome, Suhail. Looking forward to seeing some of your shots. I was checking my new DA35mm 2.4 L prime lens on fall foliage and was pleased that it was up to the task.
Attached is a picture I took yesterday at a nearby park. Freddy

I will surely post some. Since I take pictures while hiking with my dog and holding my camera on a clip, I take pictures on the go. I do not build a hide or take pictures after long planning. It is just hike-see-point-shoot kind of pictures. So the window of planning for me is very short.

Hello there. Steve from New Zealand here...New to the whole DSLR thingy, but have recently bought a Kr which came with the DAL 18-55 and 50-200 kits lens. Don't know how good these are in the greater scheme of things, but will use them seeing as how I'm pretty new to all this.

I'm not using Kr anymore. Below the image I took about two years ago. That's one of my first pictures with my DSLR journey
