The regular DA lenses have quick shift and metal mounts, but they are otherwise optically identical to their cheaper DA L counterparts. If you really want to be able to use quick shift, then it'll cost you, as the price difference between the DA and DA L 55-300's is about $200, thus making $1000 total sound about right!
If you got the
body only ($582) and the rest used ($275 for the DA 55-300 and <$70 for the 18-55), you might be able to get the whole package for under $900, but that's assuming shipping is free. Check our marketplace for some recent used deals!
