ebay battery

Anyone bought a cheap K-r battery from ebay as a backup? something like this - Battery for Pentax D-LI109,K-R KR Digital,DLI109,39066. (eBay item 280611214530 end time 05-Mar-11 08:39:25 AEDST) : Photography

I've got two different cheap ebay batteries and the other one is just like the one in that listing. Both work just as good as the original (at least so far)

I have a knock-off k7 battery. It works pretty well inside where it's warm, but when outside in colder conditions, it doesn't work nearly as well as the original pentax battery. Even inside it lasts about 75% as long as the original. So it's good, but not great.

There are other posts about non pentax batteries in the forum and they are pretty positive. I ordered 5 of these D-Li109 Li-Ion Battery for Pentax K-r DSLR NEW DLi109 - eBay (item 290513308146 end time Mar-16-11 14:03:59 PDT). This seller ships very fast and replies quickly to messages. He typically limits the number of batteries that can be purchased to 3, but I messaged him and he allowed me to order 5.

That is the same one I bought. Works fine.

Get it, it works pretty well for me. Maybe because i only charged it twice, so hard to tell.
