K-r extended warranty in Virginia?

Hi,

I tried to purchase the extended warranty for the K-r from Adorama, but found that it was backordered and apparently isn't valid in Virginia anyway.

I emailed B&H about this to see if their extended warranty had the same exclusion, but have not received any reply.

It seems like a no-brainer to purchase this since it's only $20. But does anyone know of an extended warranty that would be as good as the Pentax one and would actually be usable in the state where I live?

Wonder why the Virginia exclusion?

There is a thread from 2 months ago where this was kicked around. I checked on the issue and the VA (and other places) exclusion is from SELLING it in VA, not the validity if it is purchased elsewhere. I bought mine from B&H for a K-5 after verifying it is valid for a VA resident if bought from NY. Pentax will honor the warranty.
