Hi! Does anyone know if I would be able to use a SMC Pentax-M 1:20 50mm lens on my DSLR K10D with some kind of adapter? In my manual it states that only lenses with an "A" on the aperture ring can be used with the camera. Do I have any options for this lens?

You can use it. First, you have to allow the camera to use the aperture ring in the Custom menu - set it to Permitted. Then, set the camera to M mode, and the switch on the side to MF. When you set the desired aperture on the lens, press the Green Button to set the shutter speed.

I finally got it to work thanks to your instructions. Now I just need to practice. I'm shooting a concert in June and hope to have a good feel for this lens by then.
