My K-r focuses indoors!

I'm going to attempt to start a thread for K-r photos taken indoors that are in focus. Unfortunately, my cat is the only interesting subject I have, so if other people would contribute, that'd be great

P.S. I'm tired of hearing about tungsten light problems

I'm not sure I understand the intent of this thread... it takes more than shooting indoors to provoke the FF issue, but I agree that it is hyped to an annoying degree.

Well so many people complain about how it won't focus "indoors". My understanding is it is a tungsten light issue, but maybe the camera is just shy when under a roof. I would just like people to post "indoor" photos, probably preferably under tungsten, that are well focused. Not necessarily "gallery worthy".

I must say, those photos are very nice indeed.

Ok, then. Here is "not gallery worthy" my indoor under tungsten light monkey photo that was taken by my K-r with AWB, ISO 800, F8.0, Av setting.

Did you focus on the monkey? The pink thing seems to be sharper than the monkey. If you focused on the monkey, the shot looks front focused. Try the shot at f/4 and see if it is still in focus, f/8 has more DOF and hides focus errors.
Try the same shot with your K200D and compare.
