I want to get another battery for my KR, so I went to B&H website. For Pentax brand I get 2 results:

D-L190 Mfr# 39066 7.4v - $49.95 (In description says is for KR)
Pentax Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery D-L109 for The KR 39066 B&H

D-LI90 Mfr# 39830 7.2v, 1860mAh - $37.52 (In description says is for K7)
Pentax D-LI90 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Pack 39830 B&H

My question is are these batteries essentially the same (will the K7 one fit the KR?) and if so is the is the .2v extra worth the extra money?

No, they are not the same and cannot be used interchangeably. The K-7/5 battery is the D-LI90, while the K-r battery is the D-LI 109. Looks like BH has got a typo on their page!

Wound up getting two aftermarket batteries (recommended by forum members) for less than half the price of one Pentax brand one. If they don't work out I'll spring for the original.
