I need help with the movie setting!

ok so, i just got this camera about a week ago and i have filmed a few things in the HD setting on movie mode but no matter what when I upload them onto my comouter or youtube they are very grainy and pixely. Am I doing something wrong? because I have watched many videos that people have posted with this camera and they are very nice and clear. please help.

- thank you

check if you did'nt change exposure with the EV +/- button, near the green one. If you do, it's like you're using bigger iso.

Everything on your camera screen will look great. Film might be grainy because of low light condition or may be you would have chosen some different setting. Check if you have Aperture automatically controlled by camera or is it fixed aperture.

Basically, setting aperture to auto will set the aperture appropriately depending upon the lighting condition. Setting aperture to fixed will allow you to change aperture using E-dial during recording.

Again, it depends on the lighting conditions whether the you want to overexpose or you want to underexpose. I think this option is activated once you press the EV button (next to green button) and it can be compensated using the E-dial during recording.

Refer page 165 on K-r's manual

What is your ISO set to? Did you select a very high ISO?
