I have atached a picture of the light source for your reference.
And sadly i dont have any tungsten bulb to test.

But let me be clear, i have to use all the time -6 focus correction, so if the k-r didn't had the micro adjustemnt feature probably i had returned the camera.
CF's. You probably should send it in for calibration.

I misunderstood the phrasing of the question and I voted yes, I actually don’t have an issue with FF.

How long does the calibration service take? And do you take it into a dealer (don't have (m)any around me) or ship it to Pentax in Chandler, AZ?

You have to ship the camera to CRIS (Pentax's repair contractor) in AZ. You can also send one of your lens if you want. This may help them check the focus and maybe get a better calibration for your camera/lens combo. If you contact Pentax customer service and tell them you want to have the camera fixed, they will send the forms and let you know all the details. It took about a month for my camera to be calibrated but it depends on how busy they are. Also once the camera gets to CRIS you can check the repair status on line.

Just wondering whether this issue is present only on early pieces or it's still persistent with new as well?

I'm considering to send the camera in. Did it help to solve the issue? How many lenses are recommended to send (I've got 4 now)?
