Kr Flash

I recently purchased my Kr and I love it! I do need a flash and I would love some suggestions on one that works for others but will not break the bank. I am leaning to the AF-360 but the price is holding me back right now. Are there any 3rd party flashes that anyone can recommend. I will be taking pictures inside in a small room of animals for an animal shelter. Thank you in advance!

Yongnuo YN560 Speedlight

Yongnuo YN560 Speedlight - Photographic/Pentax Accessory Database - Flash, Grip, Camera Bag Reviews seems to rate well for a manual flash.

I'm using the Metz 48 AF-1 on my Kr I had purchased it to use no the K200D. It works quite well.

Unlike the Yongnuo YN560 Speedlight which is manual only flash, the Metz supports PTTL (auto).

The Metz is an inexpensive alternative to the Pentax flashes yet its feature set is comparable to the expensive Pentax flashes.

There is a new Metz (50 AF) which Pentaxians seem to be satisfied with.

I have the Metz 50 AF-1. I like it a lot. It was pretty much the same price as the AF-360 but includes a swivel head (not just tilt) and a bit more power (guide number 50 vs 36). I has a USB port so that the firmware can be updated.

From what I understand, though, the only limitation is that you can only use this flash as a slave in wireless mode and not an on camera master.
