Faulty white balance in K-R

Anybody else seen this problem? I took some shots today with a brand new K-R, Auto WB indoors but in a well lit sunny room and the shots came out blue as if I had set Tungsten WB. I was focusing on a person's face. The reflected light is very pale lilac off the walls. Lights were off at the time.

To tell the truth, i have owned 3 different dslr (nikon, olympus, pentax) and in all of them the white balance somewhat sucks, being the d90 the worst and the ep-1 the best.
due to this, im trying to use daylight preset, but usually i use AWB +2 amber
