Live view on computer screen?

Is there any way to get the live view image transfered live to a computer screen? I know that I can have it shown on the TV screen using the provided cable with the white and yellow connectors (dont know the name for it), but is there an easy way to have it shown on the computer screen using the USB cable?

No. Pentax does not provide any support for tethering its consumer DSLRs.

Ah but where Pentax drops the ball, independent developers pick it up.

Check this out. Read it thoroughly, be aware of the caveats, but it looks very promising and is under active development.

It still does not provide live view.

True, but it's a significant step in the right direction, it's free, and it's still being developed. For some purposes it may be enough.

Check this out: DSLR Controller :: FAQ only available for Canon at present but support for Nikon and Pentax in the future is mentioned. Its an android app that runs on honeycomb tablets and supports liveview via USB as well as camera control.

Is it still being developed? The last update was February.
