Exposure bracketing - possible with one click

Just wondering if there is setting that means that when you want to do exposure bracketing you can just press the shutter button and let go and it will do the 3 shot rather than having to hold for all 3? From what I can tell it's not possible, but I'm just hoping someone knows some way of doing it.
Thanks

On my K20D, Bracketing works either of two ways:

1) by holding the shutter button down for all the bracketed shots (selectable 3 or 5 shots, at selectable 1/2 or 1/3 stop intervals) in fast sequence; or
2) with separate shutter presses to take those bracketed shots one-by-one within a 20-second interval, such as if using flash and recharge time is needed

Have you checked your user manual to see if the Kr has any tricks there?

I think from what I can tell in the manual that is pretty much the same. I just think it would be nice to be able to just push the button once then let it do its thing. O well if its not possible its not possible.

THis is one of those features that Pentax keeps for it's top end DSLR. It's an option in the K-5 but not the K-x (and I assume the K-r). Add to the list features like timer+exposure bracketting, AF fine adjust per lens, Hi-continuos+remote, etc etc.

This is about the k20d--I use it with manual focus mode (I only use MF) and a single push of the shutter takes all 3 exposures.Did you try it this way?

I checked my manual (K20d) and it appears I had set "one push bracketing" to ON in the custom setting menu.

Well that's another reason to go to the k-5 some time. It really is a feature that I would like for doing longish exposure HDR.
