Problem with KR installer CD

I'm trying to install the included software but nothing happens on my imac...I was able to open the CD and register the product, but not get into the installation....not sure I need it anyway but just curious if I do and why I can't get it to load....

Also, the lens manual does not list the kR under it's table of lens/built in flash compatibility....I'm sure I will discover most of what I need to now by experimenting with it, but again, curious why it's not listed....

Right click (or control click) on the Pentax installer.app and select Show Package Contents. Then click on Contents->Resources->OSX and double click INSTPUT041.pkg (or whatever version comes with the K-r). After you have installed the CD version download the 4.34 updater from Pentax.
