Pentax 540FGZ v Sigma EF-610 DG Super for my KR

Hi All,

Just wondering whether any of you have had experiences with either or both these flash units?
I'm just not sure whether to stick with the Pentax (because it's Pentax and will work) or go for the Sigma.

Currently my options are a 2nd-hand 540FGZ or New Sigma 610-Super.....

So I'm sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Hoping your experiences can shed some light.

Ive got both, and both are fantastic units.
I recomend the 610 super.

I looked up your posts from April when you purchased the Sigma 610 and you seemed to really like it. Can you comment on any challenges you have had with it in the last 8 months. I personally just picked up the Metz 50 AF-1 (I couldn't resist the Metz at 199.99), but I was also very close to getting the Sigma and might make it my next purchase.
