Its just started here in chicago for the first accumulation. I think i'll blow off the snow by departing for florida (may shoot a few pics on the way).

Well after them calling for snow over night and most of today what we got is actually rain so far. I feel like I'm living in Vancouver this winter

My lazy way for shooting snow is to start with Av mode and around 1.5 stops of exposure compensation. Take a test photo, check it on the LCD, adjust the exposure compensation if needed.
