which cheap remote

I would like some suggestions for buying cheap remotes from ebay. I saw those selling for around $2. are they any good or should I buy a genuine one for around $25?

I have 4 of the Chinese remotes. I prefer this model:
LLC RM-E7 Remote Control reviews - Pentax Camera Accessories: Database and Reviews

For the K-r it works the shutter with the main button and for the K-5 it does AF with one button and shutter with the other. Runs around $8 shipped typically. Good distance, reliable for me, and uses a pretty standard CR2025 battery which run around 99cents at B&H if you need a replacement.

I have one also and I liked it with my k-x. Tried it with my K-5 tonight but no luck.. the battery had died. But good to know it should work with it as well.

I also have one remote from DealExtreme for various cameras.. did not work at all. The battery wasn´t to blame

You can often find the CR2025 battery at places like WalMart and Target. Not sure how easy they would be in Finland but Onnea teille.
