It's been a while since I've used the K-r and I'd just like to confirm one fact- the DR is the new DRII ultrasonic system, correct? Or is it noisy just like on the K10D and K-x?

I haven't used it on anything newer than the K-r, but it's pretty noisy. I'd assume it's the old type, as you can clearly hear it knocking around in there.

+1 to that - never used anything previous to K-r but it does buzz

Its the old system and does not work nearly as well as the K-5 or any of the Olympus cams ive owned..

It's noisy, you can hear and feel the sensor shaking around. That was actually quite a let down for me. It feels like more of a marketing gimmick than a legitimate attempt to remove dust.
